"This is a call to action to the listeners. Only you can do it, the power is within you. That's how this works. It takes everybody—takes a village.” - Margot
My guest today is Margot Paez. Margot is a climate change physicist and PhD candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on research relating to climate change statistical based modeling, bitcoin mining, and combating misinformation regarding bitcoin mining and the environment. She is also a Fellow at the Bitcoin Policy Institute. In this final episode of The Progressive Bitcoiner, we discuss the evolution of Bitcoin, the death of the traditional progressive movement, the future of political movements, and the future of left grassroots movements and why more people from the left should care about Bitcoin. We explore how Bitcoin transcends partisan lines and challenges conventional political thinking, while also reflecting on the progressive bitcoiner movement over the last several years.
